Director Statement

Peter was the producer on The Astronomer's Sun, (TAS).

"I have always had a love for animation. For story, characters, and topics within imagination that can be explored in this form in ways live-action doesn't."

Following obtaining an MFA in screenwriting, I have been developing, with some of the same team as on The Astronomer's Sun, an environmental screenplay for the animation story, BEAR SONG.

BEAR SONG is a present day Watership Down for Bears.

As a full-length feature BEAR SONG builds upon themes found in the short, TAS. We are now hoping through festival screenings of TAS to reach out to find producers or agents interested in our new animation screenplay BEAR SONG.
