MONTETRÉ was born in Fort Worth, Texas, and grew up in Sanger, TX. He became active with film production at a young age, writing, directing, and starring in his first feature film nellAnoRe in 2008 at the age of 21, produced by his fledgling production company MWB3 Problems. He moved to Portland in 2009 and became an actor with LastRites Productions, appearing in various stage productions including the leading role in Mysterious Skin. He has appeared as an actor in several short and feature films, and is a featured player in the interactive children’s math- based educational series The Digits. He has written and directed several feature films including Pickled, K’Nights, MoonPi, and Holed-Up. He is currently in production with Zombie Cats from Mars and Glare, a vampire movie. In addition to filmmaking, Montetré has written several novels, including Time Sense Belongs This Curse, The Life Out Here, and The Shoeshiner’s Metropolis.
