Daddy

Biography:

Mahmoud earned a B.A degree in Film Production and Directing. He also earned M.A degree in Cultural Affairs Management. He has been a film director for over 30 years and his major activities include directing documentaries, fiction long and short films. Besides directing, producing and editing films, he is undertaking researching and writing screenplays like long length movie "Noora" that has got several Awards including Best film at "Taormina International Film Festival, 2003" in Italy.

Mahmoud has played the leading roles in long length 35 mm movies such as "The lover of Koochak" and "The Puppet Bride". Mahmoud has also written several long length screenplay including : "Two Friends" (2014), "Poet of life and love" (2009), "My Homeland" (2008), "Forgotten" (2007), "The Migration of Love" (2004), and "Noora" (2001).

His long length movie "Noora" has been the "Official Selection" in many film festivals in 2002 and 2003 and has gotten several awards, including "Best Feature Film", at the 49th "Taormina International Film Festival", in Italy, June 2003.

* In 2013 he made his short fiction Drama "The Prisoner". This film has been the "Official Selection" in many film festivals in 2013 and 2014 and has got two awards and has been Nominated for some awards, including:

1- The "Best Film" Award
2- The "Best Supporting Actor" Award
at "Hollywood Cinerockom International Film Festival 2013".
3- Nominated for "Best Lead Actor" at "Red Dirt International Film Festival 2013"
4- Nominated for "Best Supporting Actor" at "Red Dirt International Film Festival 2013"

* And in 2014 he made his latest fiction film "The Debt" that has been the "Official Selection" in many film festivals in 2014 and 2015 and has got some Awards and has been Nominated for some awards so far, including:
