Since 2003 the International Festival SIGNES DE NUIT is active in
Paris and world wide. In these last years we have presented some
thousand films from around 70 countries in our principal yearly
festivals and on the same time in around 140 programs in collaboration
with cultural institutions and festivals in up to now 38 countries,
among those Algeria, Australia, Chile, Cuba, Hungary, Indonesia,
Japan, Lebanon, Lithuania, Peru, Russia, Slovenia, Tunisia, Turkey,
United States ...

Also the festival has been transformed in a multinational one and actually actually is performed wit competition and focus programs in Berlin, Lisbon, Bangkok, Tucuman (Argentina) and Urbino (Italy).

Each festival offers new selected programs and invite each time a different jury.

The Festival presents films, which reflect new views, original imagery, and a critical approach to the crucial elements of modern aand actual human existence. It is a place for cinema that expands its own boundaries, that is astonishing, different, potentially free from the pressure of tradition, ready to give itself over to unpredictable experimentation. New aesthetics are welcome.

I am very honored that my short film “Noa” has received the “Night Award” at Festival Internacional Signos de Noite.

I was very impressed with the curation of the programme and though I didn’t attend, I can mention that there was great communication and willing to help with every request I had.
    Thank you very much!

    Dear Dieter,
    Director Signos da Noite
Thank you for the AWard! Great news!!

We are grateful and honored to be recognized by Signos da Noite.
Transkids brings to the front for the first time in Israel, four brave and unique families dealing with the transformation and transition of their children allowing the viewer to have an intimate and compassionate look at the challenges behind unconditional love.
The four transgender youth and their families open their lives and hearts in their quest for understanding.
We are happy to be able to bring their stories to the international audience, stressing once more that love and acceptance know no borders.

    Best,
    Mariel and the Medalia Team
