Speedwriting
Greg and Michael are writing partners. When Greg needs cash he comes up with a scheme to teach prospective writers how to maximize script pitching, with unexpected results.
The film satirizes the workshop industry in the entertainment community, wherein actors, writers and other hopefuls spend money they may not have in order to meet casting directors, development executives and others who augment their income considerably in these sessions, which for the most part don't yield anything beneficial to the participants.

Michael Russnow has written for "The Waltons," "Streets of San Francisco" and "Little House On the Prairie" and then moved into comedy with "Barney Miller." He was also story editor on "Diff'rent Strokes," interspersed with episodes for "Family Ties," "Dynasty," "Knots Landing," "Santa Barbara" and many other shows. He wrote the recently published "Hollywood on the Danube" (on Amazon) based on his 1998 stint in Budapest setting up a soap opera. A contributor to "The Huffington Post," in 2011 he decided to pursue his long-desired acting dream in addition to writing and joined AFTRA. After the merger he became a member of SAG-AFTRA.
With the advent of new media and affordable equipment, not to mention the Internet, the barriers to get a project greenlighted and get something actually done have made it possible to pursue my dreams.
