The Lost Treasure of the Mayans

A comic-action-adventure film in the vein of Indiana Jones, the treasure hunting game had gotten very sour (and black & blue) for Mick, but nonetheless, he’s back in Mexico, helping an idealistic yet very feisty woman return a sacred object to the indigenous Mayans; the humans who want to stop them are very bad indeed, but nothing compared to the evil Jaguar War Goddess and her minions.

Writer Biography - Julius Galacki

Julius has a BFA from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts and MA from the Gallatin School of Interdisciplinary Studies, and then a MFA from the Yale School of Drama Playwriting Department.
His nearly 29 minute dramedy ALL THINGS CHICKEN, which he wrote, directed and produced, will premiere at the Green Bay Film Festival in March 2015.
His script PRAY WITH A BULLET was named a top ten finalist in American Zoetrope’s 2010 Screenplay Contest.
His first short film, FIRST NIGHT was seen on Palm Springs PBS in January 2013, has over 27,000 hits on the website Funny or Die (still “funny”) and was shown in the Flagstaff and Ventura Film Festivals and the Hollywood Fringe Festival.
His plays have been performed or read (and often directed by me) at various venues in New York City, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Connecticut, New Jersey, South Carolina and Hawaii.
His theatre monologues have appeared in all 4 volumes of Smith & Kraus’ “Audition Arsenal” series.
