The Art of Being Unseen focuses Ted, Aidan and Harrison, three technical theatre students of Capilano University. The film explores what goes on behind the curtain and attempt to understand why they have chosen their path. The Art of Being Unseen is shot with a mix of verite and interview based footage. The film focuses on the pursuit of unconventional passions and the challenges these people face on a daily basis.

Alex Rivers is an emerging filmmaker, studying documentary at Capilano University. Prior to his studies at Capilano, he attended McGill University where he received a BA in History, minoring in International Relations and World Cinema. In 2008 he directed My Enemy, his first short documentary, which was selected for a number of independent film festivals in Canada and the United States.
