Steve has 20 years experience of working in the creative arts, regional theatre, schools and community arts. He is a versatile actor, writer, director and facilitator with a warm and friendly style that engages colleagues and participants and puts them at ease. He works with all ages and abilities.
Using drama games, improvisation, role play and creative writing as learning tools, Steve provides skills and confidence to participants to help develop imaginative thinking. Passionate about exploring new areas of work he uses film and photography and drama workshops to support literacy such as playwriting or seeing through the process of script to screen.
Based in the North West of England, Circa was the first short film I'd made simply to work with a great crew and because we wanted to make it happen. This was a project about the experience of making a film on a budget of £50. Turns out it was a fantastic experience and a huge learning curve. Hopefully this is just the start!
