All That Remains
Once she realizes her death is imminent, Liora, a 54 years old woman, decides to organize her departure from life with no compromises. As a doctor of philosophy in Biology and a medical researcher, she treats her upcoming death as if it was a scientific project. She creates a "Finalize and Overlap" folder in her computer, in where she lists all the tasks she wants to accomplish before her approaching death. This 'project' would mostly affect her close-ones remaining in the following days, months and years after she's gone.
Is it possible to plan the unpredictable? Can facing death be also a vivid experience?

At first I was sceptical. How can one shoot a film whose main character was long gone? Archival footage from annual vacations and family meals? No thanks. But then I met with several figures who followed Liora to her death. Each fascinated me in its own way. I realized that her story can not only inspire the terminally ill on how to die, but also to inspire us, the living, on how to live. When one suddenly sees death without fear, as Liora was able to do, life seem fuller and bear a greater meaning. Death is unavoidable, and it comes and goes by its will alone. In the meantime, just as Liora noted, there's just so much to do...
