While working on the DVD commentaries for a previous film, I wanted to discuss a little bit about myself in terms of my artistic and personal journey over the years. But after contemplation, I decided to switch gears and instead of talking about this visceral journey, why not show it , instead. So , I lined up a small production team and we traveled across NC for a year to capture stories from fellow film makers. It wasn't long before we had over twenty filmmakers who had heard about our project and wanted to share their unique stories. In efforts to keep the production on an even keel and manageable, we ended up showcasing the personal and artistic journeys of twelve NC -based filmmakers. Ultimately, what began as a possible five-minute monologue intended as bookend bonus commentary on a horror film became a full length documentary. Whereas , it's centered on filmmaking , the film's true essence surpasses that. It’s about inspiring audiences to pursue their dreams and aspirations regardless of the hurdles. It's about seeing the boundaries and going beyond to bring your dreams to reality.
