Writer Biography - Marty Weiss

Marty Weiss is an award-winning filmmaker who has directed a vast anthology of commercials, films, and television projects. His debut novel, The Alchemist Agenda, was published in 2013 and his screen adaptation won Amazon Studio’s $20,000.00 best screenplay award and went on to their development slate.

Weiss has just completed his next novel, The Flamingo Affair, which is currently out to publishers through the Talcott Notch Literary Agency.

Weiss earned his M.F.A. in film and television from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts and his B.S. in Journalism from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana. He serves as a mentor at University of Southern California’s Cinematic Studies Program and is a proud member of the DGA, WGA, and ITW.
