Circle
“Circle” is about ritualistic performance of Charka, focused on an individual community of Bangladesh. The events Charak happened in occasion of celebrating the transitional period between two years are not only the cultural expression but the way of purification. The community connect with undisclosed relationship between moving round the Charak and the endless circular dynamics of time.
By performing this ritual they feel extra energy possess upon their body and mind and got peace from this sacrificial ritualistic offering. This is an exploration from unconscious stratum of body. A metaphysical language of body.
This film is about finding anthropological perspective of this offering and philosophy of this social metaphysics.
