Like My Own
A 28 year old, young-minded man, gets a stroke of luck, gaining the image of a mature adult, by marrying a beautiful, head-strong Indian American woman. His world is then rocked, when his newlywed wife is murdered, leaving him to take the sole responsibility of her 7 year old son. Declining the help from his, more than willing, parents, he decides to take the responsibility head on. Existential questions, spiritual and other outside influences, prove the task to be harder than he had hoped.

Christian Day was born on April 19, 1989 in Ft. Lewis, Tacoma, Washington, USA. He is an actor/screenwriter, known for Ice Cream in the Cupboard (2017), Power of Love (2017) and Ghost Adventures (2008).
Writing has always been a hidden talent of mine, up until last year. I've always done it in private and without anyone knowing. Acting, on the other hand, has always been my passion. Last year, I moved to LA for a little bit and starred in a couple short films. In passing, I've met a lot of really interesting people, whom I have shared my script synopsis with, against my better judgement, but I have received very positive feedback. This competition was brought to my attention by another supporter of mine that believes this opportunity is perfect for my project. I hope you feel the same way...
