Directors, Jasmine Wright & Derrick Small.
Jasmine is a dancer and actress from Tacoma, WA. After dancing for Walt Disney World and Disney Live touring shows, she studied Dance and Music at the University of Washington and graduated with honors in 2015. Her T.V. credits include Guest Star on TNT’s THE LIBRARIANS; Series Regular on the Amazon series THE SCOTTISH PLAY; Series Regular on the Pure Flix original series HILTON HEAD ISLAND; and Co-Star on SyFy’s Z NATION. During her time in Los Angeles, she starred in a variety of stage plays such as PEACE BE STILL by NAACP-award winning writer Kinnik Sky in West Hollywood, POUNDCAKE by NAACP-award winning writer Tai French in Burbank, and Shakespeare’s ROMEO & JULIET for La Cañada Presbyterian Church Drama Ministry. She also studied briefly and performed with Lula Washington Dance Theatre (choreographer for AVATAR’s tribal movement) and produced/starred in her own action short “CLAWED: A Cat Woman Fan-Film.”
In 2019, Jasmine left the industry and became a police officer in WA state. More recently, she has stepped back from law enforcement in order refocus herself. She is now enjoying married life and getting back into yoga and dance.
Derrick is a producer and director at DSArtistry Productions. He aspires to highlight noble causes via cinematically dark and poetically inspiring artwork. Since joining the filmmakers’ community, he has served in various roles including producer, director, line-producer, assistant director, and writer. He believes that creativity and business acumen work together. His work includes "Match," a short about the mismatch of online dating; "Art-Is-Umm: The Way To Heal," a documentary on the benefits of art, music and drama on the development of children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder; and "Number 1," an experimental short describing a complex religious upbringing. Additionally, Small has worked on several music and corporate videos. He has over 13 years of public relations, marketing, and multimedia experience. He is also a Marine Corps veteran.
