Marit Rose Stafstrom (Mei-tsan) is a young emerging filmmaker based in Philadelphia, PA. She is a multidisciplinary creative who crafts her films from scratch, working as writer, director, producer, editor, composer on all her projects. Marit is a 2015 graduate of Swarthmore College's Film and Media Studies program. Drawing from her life experience, Marit's work centers women of color, particularly queer Asian-American women, and explores themes of transgression, transformation, and the resonances of the cinematic medium itself.
