The film is about crafts of the Tver province, about shoemaking in Kimry, blacksmithing in Tver, gold embroidery in Torshok, production of porcelain and faience in Lihoslavl and production of lace in Kalyazin. The main characters of the film, are the people who cares about the traditional Russian art. And despite economical or socio-cultural problems, they are devoted to the work they love.
