Scot is a writer, director, actor and editor known for award-winning films including Rockin' Reverend (2012), and The Holly King (2014), along with an award-winning web series, Delphis, and music videos.
Scot was born in Kansas City and moved to Plano, Texas at the age of 7. He grew up in the suburbs of Dallas until he moved to San Francisco, CA, in his mid 20's. He married and had two boys in Northern California before returning to the Dallas area in 2006.
He started acting on stage in his early 20's doing plays including The Time of Your Life, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Noises Off, The Matchmaker, No Sex Please We're British, Inspecting Carol, Our Country's Good, The Runner Stumbles, and Arsenic and Old Lace.
In 2011, he started acting in indie films and TV commercials.
In 2012, he wrote and directed his first film, a feature comedy titled Rockin' Reverend. He went to several film festivals and won many awards for Rockin' Reverend including Beverly Hills Film Festival and The Hollywood Screenplay Contest.
From 2013 to 2015, Scot wrote and directed short films like the award-winning The Holly King, and a film race entry titled Road Less Bongoed. He also enjoyed directing and shooting multiple music videos.
In 2016, Scot completed his second feature screenplay, the comedy 420 Taco.
