Metamorphosis

HANSEL PORRAS GARCIA was born in Pinar del Río, Cuba, on July 20, 1994.
At the age of eight he began hosting in children's radio shows at the Radio Guama Provincial Broadcasting Station, where he remained until the year 2014 working professionally as On Air Talent.
In 2013 he graduated as an actor at the National School of Arts, in Havana, Cuba, Where he had the opportunity to make his graduation thesis and later works with the important theater group El Publico, directed by Carlos Diaz. He has also written and directed different plays in the city of Miami.
He is currently doing studies in Film and TV Production and Direction at the Center of Cinematography, Arts and TV (CCAT) in Miami, where he has been a writer, director and producer of several short films including "Casting" (Official Selection Miami International Film Festival 2017; Official Selection Digital Box Office and Screening Series; Official Selection Silver Screen Film Festival; Official Selection Ocean City Film Festival”), "Identity", "Hybris", "The Stalking", among others.
At the moment he is in the process of post-production his documentary “Adopted”.
