A Little Touch of Harry

Harry Little is a veteran filmmaker - 36 features in 36 years - and while he was hot and trendy in the Eighties, he's considered a little out of touch with today's audiences. Be that as it may, Harry is happy in his little corner of Filmland, turning out his yearly feature for a small but dedicated audience. Harry only really has two problems. The first is the studios, whose twelve-year-old business school graduates view him as an extinct species and are reluctant to distribute his films. The second is his four ex-wives, all of whom have tried to kill him at one time or another. And as our story opens, one of them finally gets the job done...

Director Biography - Neill Fleeman (as P.E. Marston)

In the 1970's, as a research and development engineer, Neill Fleeman wrote and directed a number of industrial films working out of Kansas City's famed Calvin Studios where Robert Altman and Richard Sarafian got their start some two decades earlier. After a long hiatus from film, during which he recorded three albums of music and played as a solo act, wrote three novels and numerous essays, short stories, and magazine articles, he returned to the 'hot' side of the camera as a featured extra in the George Clooney/Renee Zellweger starrer 'Leatherheads', Ramin Bahrani's acclaimed 'Goodbye Solo', and as a leading actor in commercials and short films. His 2014 narrative feature 'The Third Act' was based on his short story of the same name and his book and score for his 2003 musical 'The Golddiggers of 42nd Street', an award winner at the 2024 Future of Film Awards. Fleeman also wrote the score for his second feature 'Blackbird Bye Bye'. His third feature film, 'A Little Touch of Harry,' achieved an "Award of Exceptional Merit" at the 2019 Depth of Field International Film Festival, Special Jury Prize from the International Motion Picture Awards, and Merit Awards for feature film, direction and editing from the Accolade International Film Festival. 'Flashback in Paradise', his fourth feature film has scored an Award of Exceptional Merit from the Depth of Field Festival. His fifth feature "Too Little, Too Late" was judged Best Fantasy Feature at the Avignon (France) International Film Festival in 2024.

I never intended to wind up in the movie racket. It was just one of those naturally-occurring phenomenon, like sunspots. Or the Bubonic Plague.
