Carlo

Carlo is a middle-aged man in crisis with himself and with the world around him, always looking obsessed with something, especially in the desperate search for love. This inclination leads him to frequent the nightlife and the world of prostitution that manages to reconcile with his seemingly quiet middle-class existence. Carlo, in his own way, is a poet who does not write: he thinks like a poet, and wanders around an urban world, made up of palaces and lights, of construction sites and industrial structures, and for other environments dedicated to leisure, so loved , hated and sung by the poets of the twentieth century. The story of Carlo is based on that of the homonymous protagonist of the novel Petrolio by Pier Paolo Pasolini, with the contribution of the suffering voice of the Canti orfici by Dino Campana.
