Leading Independence
(with open captions). This is a short documentary I made about the members of the Dublin 15 Disability Peer Support Group and how they've each been positively affected by the group. Each of these people is an example of, and ambassador for, independent living with support and assistance. Directed, shot and cut by me, a Dublin-based woman and a mother.

BA(Hons) graduate in creative digital media from ITB. Mammy. Wife. Failed secretary. Aspiring Film-maker. Incredibly resourceful and inventive. Lives in Clonsilla, Dublin, Ireland.
I learn from everyone around me and from listening to their stories. Everyone who spoke on this film, who invited me into their homes and their lives, was a teacher to me. I applaud each person's determination to live independently despite the many obstacles our society throws at them.
