The Avalon Harbor Underwater Cleanup
The Avalon Harbor Underwater Cleanup has been an annual event since the 1980s. It’s a fundraiser that benefits the USC Catalina Hyperbaric Chamber and the Wrigley Institute for Environmental Studies–Catalina Conservation Divers. Volunteers and participants descend on Avalon each year for a chance to dive the harbor, benefit the environment, help out two important causes and socialize with hundreds of other divers.
