There was a branch in the tree of life.

Time passed, bloating in the branch.

This ledge on the branch has grown. Grew up. It grew much bigger. Eventually looked like a hand.

This hand was a child. It was young. Time passed, hand was older.

So much time has passed since you found it. Started to dry out.

It was finally dry enough.

Hand, leaped from the tree of life as a leaf,

Fell in a book,
