Director Statement

This film is loosely based on the relationship I have with my 10 year old sister, Ella. I wrote this film as a big 'what if', what would I do in this situation. I believe it is important to explain current affairs such as terrorism to younger generations sensitively but honestly. It is difficult to get a balance but I hope I am able to get parents and siblings thinking about what if this could happen to them. It also shows the collateral damage terrorism can cause in any country, Sam and Lucy's story is just a small part of larger stories.
