Director Statement

The film "Farming Followers" was inspired after I attended a domestic travel trip sponsored by the SHSU Agricultural Sciences Department. Over the course of the trip through agricultural regions in the southwest, I met several farmers. Some of these young farmers shared their experiences using social media to connect with people who may have never been on a farm. After hearing the positive results they saw, I knew I had to share their experiences with others.
