INSPIRATION: While at Jamba Juice waiting for my juice, I happened to glance down at a discarded newspaper. It was the sports section, which I never read because I'm not that big into sports. I'm glad I read it that day, particularly an article about Cubs fans who blew up the infamous Bartman ball in hopes of breaking the team's curse.
I had no idea how crazy and superstitious fans could be. Combining this with my home state's celebration after the Red Sox broke their own curse ignited a light bulb over my head -- "That's a movie!"
