A gripping tale that chronicles the life of Olivia Kay Williams, an aspiring fashion model from Chicago who relocates to Los Angeles with her factory worker boyfriend and two kids after escaping an abusive marriage. In 1976, Olivia is a smash on the Los Angeles modeling scene, but her success on the runway is short-lived when Floyd decides to leave her without writing a "dear john" letter, she innocently discovers that her Grammy-Award gospel singing brother's darkest secret, marries a man on a whim in Las Vegas , and gets fired for her aging appearance. Ms. Styles' career highlights include serving as Chief of Human Resources for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs; where she developed and designed procedural training manuals.
