Born July 11th, 1977 in Cardiff, Wales. Richard began writing film scripts at the age of 31, the first script he completed was a crime drama titled "Blood Brothers". A change in employment left little time for further writing and it was put on the back burner until 2014. At the start of this year, Richard became extremely ill, it was this near death experience which gave him the drive to finally pursue his lifelong dream.
Having completed many film scripts including the World War 1 epic "The King's Own" which is based on the heroic actions of his own great-great uncle. Richard made his writing and directing debut in 2016 with the short horror film "That's Not Funny". This film was officially selected for the Days of the Dead International Film Festival in Atlanta GA.
Further films followed with the folk horror film "Murrain" (2016), the comedy horror "Press X To Continue" (2016), "The Ballad of Melinoe" (2017), "The Interviews" (2017) and "Cursed Flesh" (2017)
