SFashion (soundtrack)

India Czajkowska is a composer, vocalist and pianist. She studied at the Secondary School of Music in Lodz (Poland). She also graduated the Institute of Philosophy at Warsaw University. India is interested in vocal experiments, creating electronical soundscapes with voice, prepared piano. She works with some modern concepts of improvised music that are definitely connected with chamber acoustic music, ambient and sonoric aspects.
One of the most important area of her artistic interests is creating soundtracks for films and music for the theatre performances. Cooperations: Mauro John Capece (La Scultura 2015, Sfashion 2016) Andrzej Titkow, Piotr Uklanski, (Summer Love, 2006), NRS G"), the Theatre of TVP, the experimental and move theatres: Te'artKam, LIMEN butoh (dancer -Sylwia Hanff) , Wytwornia Theatre, Adekada.
In 2015 her soundtrack created for the film La Scultura was awarded at the Depth Of Field International Film Festival Competition as Best Original Score. And one more award came from the Salento International FILM Festival , The Best Soundtrack.

One of her new projects is free jazz Quintet created with musicians from NY: Daniel Carter (saxophonist). In 2015 she created as well a new band, Lost Fractals with Polish musicians: Tadeusz Sudnik, Jacek Mielcarek, Kuba Mielcarek.
In 2011-14 she was working with the international project, ARTRANCE – multimedial group created with: David Kollar-guitarist (Slovakia), Gergo Borlai-drummer (Hungary) and Andrea Ladanyi- dance(Hungary). She also performed many concerts in duo with the guitarist - David Kollar. Tańce Snu (Dances of The Dream)is one of her current neo folk/post classical project (with Sebastian Madejski, Adam Rozenman)
As a vocalist she has worked also with: Ensemble Elektra (The Book of Time, New York), Drum Freaks (world music), Lux Occulta (The Mother And The Enemy, 2001, Portugal ), Meru.
