Director Statement

AVE VA proposes a contemplative exloration of the Spanish geography, using images of a trip on the Ave (Spanish High Speed Train) from the north to the south of the Iberian Peninsula. My intention was to penétrate the landscape and observe the transformation derived from the movement, the “flight” of the camera. Experiment with the elements of the landscape, its interaction and the intervention of the speed in the image to carry it, through tecnical procedures of the camera, to the most basic: colors and lines.

The short film is part of a series of video-creations that explore around the act of contemplation of the natural landscape and the mystical experience.
