Belgian-born multi-media artist. Originally a journalist, Natacha was keen to find other way to express her creativity. So she began to experiment with digital media. Her first animated music video for the dance label PIAS, with its distinctive 2-D animation, was quickly noticed by advertising agencies and she was subsequently asked to create original work for clients including Nokia, Lanvin, Galliano and Canal +. She also animated a Belgian television campaign promoting safe sex. She was the creative director of the first online magazine for Elle Belgium, which served as a template for Elle's digital media in other territories. She later moved to New York as creative director for an online lifestyle magazine. It was during her time in New York that she discovered a passion for directing film after being asked to direct a music video for singer-songwriter Tanita Tikaram. She has since directed two more videos for this artist. Corporate work includes DeBeers, Clyde & Co., and the United Nations – for whom she did a film about sexual violence. Her paintings have been exhibited in Brussels, Paris , Shanghai & Monaco. The collaboration with Sarah Xanthe & Jenny Kondol of https://www.permanentlyvisibleproductions.co.uk/ will be Natacha's first short film.
Any relationship with unequal power can lead to mistreatment, and it takes many forms. I wanted to find a way to illustrate this with humour using modern and playful visuals. A film to make people think, to inform, but also to entertain.
