'DeCodeMe' was commissioned by (now defunct) Melbourne production company, AzureCine. It takes as it's premise the controversial idea that a 'gay gene' exists, and uses a science set-up in order to discuss the concept and explore themes of masculinity and male self-image, surrogacy and gay parenting. It's firmly tongue in it's black comedy cheek, but I'm aware that some of the issues it explores are sensitive and not everyone will like the way the characters deal with some of these issues.
Extreme Screenwriting gave 'DeCodeMe' a 'recommend'.
