Director Biography - Sinatra Onyewuchi

Sinatra Osm (born October 18th, 1986) is a writer, director, producer, composer, actor, recording artist, visual artist and comedian.

Sinatra Osm (born Morris Sinatra Onyewuchi) was born in East Point, Georgia, the son of Pamela Davenport (Lady PJ) and Morris Onyewuchi.

During grade school, Sinatra was placed into “gifted” classes due to his higher and much keener degree of learning and intelligence than other class mates. In first grade, he would've been skipped to the third had his father, whom was military, not been stationed to East St. Louis Missouri. However, it was there, harmonizing notes on his mother's church keyboard, would Sinatra discover his gift of sound.

Television, Film and Stage Credits
Sinatra began his professional career with the Freddie Hendricks Youth Ensemble of Atlanta (now called Youth Ensemble of Atlanta), a Repertoire theatre troupe that has gained acclaim both nationally and internationally with song and dance performances in Amsterdam, South Africa and China. YEA was featured at the 2004 Olympic Day Opening Ceremony at the Coca-Cola Factory.

Sinatra made his national TV debut as host of Thousand Dollar Bee on Major Broadcast Cable Network's, Black Family Channel owned by attorney Willie E. Gary, Marlon Jackson of the Jackson 5, Evander Holyfield, Cecil Fielder, and broadcast veteran Alvin James. Thousand Dollar Bee was a Family-oriented TV game show that was produced and directed by Robert Townsend.

Sinatra received his B.F.A. from Wright State University's Professional Actor Training Program. While attending college in Dayton, OH, he continued his acting career working with acclaimed Oscar winning Film director Joshua Marston Maria Full of Grace. While in Dayton, he opened up for the likes of Aries Spears, Pablo Francisco, G-dog and star and writer of BET's Somebodies, Nard Holston. He's also opened up for Actor, Comedian, Writer, Brandon T. Jackson.

As a recording artist, he's opened for Jagged Edge, Chip Tha' Ripper, Roland “Lil Duval” and others. Sinatra was also an audio engineering intern for Grand Hustle Records in 2008.

After returning to Atlanta, Osm landed a role at the Woodruff Arts Center's Alliance Theatre in Cartoon Network and Grammy award winning recording artist Andre "3000" Benjamin's hit Musical Class of 3000 LIVE!. Sinatra was hand-picked by Andre 3000 himself and played his character, Sunny Bridges. Andre 3000 commented on his performance and character saying, “Sinatra did a good job playing Sunny Bridges in Class of 3000 Live! And his personality will help him on his road to stardom.”

Soon after, Sinatra was seen in the Alliance Theatre's “A Christmas Carol” as Dick Wilkins and Christmas Future. It was there that Alpha Tyler of Tyler Perry Studios scouted Sinatra and asked him to Guest Star in Tyler Perry's Meet the Browns. Sinatra's episode touched on domestic violence within the young community. Sinatra was also an extra in the Meet the Browns motion picture.

Music & Education
An accomplished actor and musician, He's played on many stages throughout Atlanta including The Rialto, The Fox, Robert Ferst Center for the Arts, 7 Stages, 14th street Playhouse and The Alliance Theatre.
