Ripples
Marissa, a young CEO and sister returns to her hometown to face her mother’s impending death and the unsteady sibling relationship with her brother. Liam; her brother, stayed by his mother’s side and acted as her caregiver while Marissa was off creating her future. After nine years of avoiding her past Marissa is given the ultimate challenge of deciding the fate of her mother’s care after being appointed as Roselyn’s (Marissa’s mother) POA (Power of Attorney). This causes greater strife in her relationship with Liam. At a time like this, they are forced to work through their issues while deciding if to terminate their mother’s care. Marissa and Liam work together and come to a decision to keep fighting for their mother’s life. Their mother falls into cardiac arrest but the medical bring her back. Liam reconsiders his plea to keep his mother on life support, and the siblings sign off to let their mother go. The mood is heavy but there is some relief in the fact that the siblings are on the road to a healthier relationship.
