I was born in Prague in 1987. I work predominantly as a Camera Operator and Director, with a strong Photography background. With y images and projects I aim todocument an inside view of the city’s subcultures and urban spaces. I completed my MA in photographic studies at the University of Westminster, London, in 2012. My work has been exhibited in Prague, London and New York, and I won an award for Young Creatives from the Czech Ministry of Culture. I currently live and work in London.
After being involved in the squatting community for five years I started searching for an active approach to London’s housing crisis. Thats when I first came down Sam’s boxing gym. The instant feeling of belonging, support and love kept me coming back with a camera to capture what became a family of my own. Men in a box came together as a short film to give an insight on how individual approach and a positive attitude can change people’s lives.
