Cracked
Cracked is the story of Ian McCallister, forty years old, divorced, his identity in shambles, and seemingly doomed by a serious crack addition that has nearly killed him. He makes his way to the deepest jungle in the Amazon to live with a shaman for a mysterious hallucinogenic drug treatment. It might kill him, but he has had enough close calls to know that life is not a forgone conclusion. The story of how Ian gets to this point, and what happens in the Amazon, is told over six one-hour episodes.

Quarter finalist ScreenCraft Pilot Launch Competition
I have written several screenplays. "Buick City" was optioned by Australian director Nadia Tass, ("Malcolm," "Mr. Reliable," and "Amy"). I also wrote and produced a weekly serialized radio comedy for Chicago Public Radio, which aired on NPR and stations around the US for two years. I wrote, directed, and produced. I was awarded"Best Producer, Comedy" at the National Gracie Allen awards, and won a gold medal for best comedy at the New York Festivals. This is my first television script. It made it to the quarterfinals of the Screencraft TV Pilot competition out of 2000 entries.
This pilot is the first hour - long episode of a five part series.
