Director Biography - Tyrone Blassingame

Tyrone has been studying acting for five  years. Besides studying under some great acting coaches, some of his work includes a episode of "How To Get Away with Murder" produced by Shonda Rhimes. Tyrone just recently feature in a movie in Philadelphia called "Brotherly Love" starring Keke Palmer & Romeo Miller. He also just recently wrap TV One's show "For My Man"

Tyrone learned at a young age that Hard work and Dedication is the only way you can be successful. Tyrone played four years of Varsity Basketball at Northeast High school. Where he got selected All-Pub and All-City in basketball. Tyrone later went Community College of Philadelphia and Cheyney University were he major in theatre. Since then he never looked back he knew This acting business is what he wanted to do for the rest of his life.

Tyrone studied under some great acting coaches as Marc John Jefferies, Clifton Powell, Marishka Phillips who was Kerry Washington acting coach and a host of others. Wendy McKenzie the casting director for Notorious and Blind Side. Brian Dillinger acting coach for Ron Perlman (Sons of Anarchy). Jan ellis-sruggs who been teaching theatre for over 20 years and 10 plus at Cheyney University and Karen Vicks. With Tyrone being inspired by director/writers like Spike Lee, John Singleton, Ryan Coogler even hometown writers Jamal Hill and Jahmar Hill. Tyrone decided to start working behind the scenes. Tyrone began to start his own film company Overly Dedicated Productions (Formally Known as Royal Family Films) where he wrote his first Web-Series  "The Break Up". Tyrone is a young hungry talent that just want to create good work. Tyrone lives by a quote that a friend sent him one day "Talent is cheap; Dedication is expensive. It will cost you your life" - Irving Stone. This is the life Tyrone Blassingame chose and he will not stop.
