Director Biography - A.W. Stevenson

A.W. Stevenson is a writer/director based in Dublin, Ireland.

A graduate of Theoretical Physics, and with a Masters in Strategic Management, naturally Andrew found himself working in the film industry at 28.

In 2014 he wrote and directed his first amateur short film, ‘Not with a Bang but a Whimper’, which screened the following year at the Fastnet Short Film Festival. This year, with his first professional production, he hopes his short 'Man to Man' is received well at festivals worldwide.

When he's not working on his own projects, he crews as an Assistant Director or Production Coordinator on commercials, TV shows, Short and Feature films. He frequently works with producers H2 Films, Sweet Media, MDV and Rocket Science.

Currently he is building his portfolio, writing/directing/producing online commercials for small businesses, as well as making music videos and developing other film projects.

Inspired by a much loved tradition with my own father, I wanted to show how a sons relationship with his father is more a conversation of whats not said.
