Someone Else

Maybe you think I’m someone else
Maybe you’d be with someone else

Colors of seasons fading
Tomorrow’s just another day
In the moonlight I’m still dancing
No need to find my own way

There’s a stranger in the mirror
An apparition you can’t see
Though it seems I’m still here with you
I’m halfway across the sea

Maybe you think I’m someone else
Maybe you’d be with someone else

(music in-between)
Time passes by so freely
Through a transparent mind
Backwards, an adventure
In a world that I can never find
There’s a stranger in the mirror
An apparition you can’t see
Though it seems I’m still here with you
I’m halfway across the sea

Maybe you think I’m someone else
Maybe you’d be with someone else
Maybe you think I’m someone else
Maybe you’d be with someone else

Bridge
Can we turn back the time?
Can we relive all the times we spent together?
Can we go back home now?
Can we relive all the times we spent together?

Maybe you think I’m someone else
Maybe you’d be with someone else
Maybe you think I’m someone else
Maybe you’d be with someone else

While growing up in Seoul he learned how to play the piano. During premedical school he established a dance class with performances, and performed as one of the trombonists in the Harvard Summer School Band. During medical school he performed as the principal trombonist of the Seoul National University Medical School Orchestra. After graduating from medical school he came to the US and completed his Neurology residency at the University of Chicago and his Clinical Neurophysiology fellowship at the University of California San Diego.

Artist Statement

I aspire to bring awareness to the public about neurological disorders through the conduit of music. Through music I believe I can reach out to billions across the globe, touching the mind, heart, and souls of all of my listeners.
My songs were inspired by my patients and describe what they are experiencing and what I have learned from them over the past decade. The songs provide insight and morals about life in general from a humanistic perspective in a pure art form.
I hope my songs will help others understand what our patients are going through, and also help their families understand what their loved ones are experiencing.
Thank you.
