Khaled Moeit (b. 1997 in Port Said, Egypt) is a self-taught Director and Editor. Moeit had received training with highly renowned filmmakers during seasonal workshops, on the top of the list is Karin Westerlund, Diana Elbaum, and Béla Tarr.
Moeit has worked as an editor in (Souad, 2020) which was a 73rd Festival de Cannes official selection, and in the Panorama section of 71st Berlinale, and recently he received (Best Editing) award from 27th FESPACO.
Moeit’s work as a director is represented in (Major Tom, 2017) which received (Best Debut Short Film) from the 22nd Egyptian National Cinema Center, and his latest short film (One Frame Per Raid Siren, 2019) which participated at 41st Cairo International Film Festival and received a Special Mention from the BFI Film Academy.
