After working in Corporate Film for several years, Angus developed technical know-how in filmmaking in a high pressure environment. In order to take the next step into more mature and artistic film he completed a Masters in Documentary Film at Royal Holloway University of London.
#MementoMori was born out of two goals. To create poignant and reflective technology documentaries, and to remember my late Grandfather through film. In order to tell a web-based story in a natural and engaging way I chose to create a film entirely using screen capture techniques. Consequently, the vernacular of the computer screen is preserved in a way that is immediately relatable to a modern tech literate audience.
