Graduated St. Petersburg university of Unions. Started to shoot music videos in 2006.
When I've recieved a first demo track from the band, it sounded like and 8bit soundtrack to an old videogame. They asked me if it's possible to shoot a Lego video for it. I've never shot a stopmotion before. But after thinking about it in my mind appeared this evolution of main character through different types of animation: starting from classic Dendy Mario Bros 2d style, shapeshifting to lego city life, shot in stopmotion, and finishing the video with the footage of the real city and band members cutout photo animation composed in it. It's been a two months production and not an easy one for us, but the result is fun to watch, so we all glad we had this expereince. I hope you'll enjoy watching it!
