BVIS - Black Gold

Norway is known for the beautiful fjords, lush countryside and magical nature with thriving wildlife, and the norwegians for their love and reverence for it. But the fjords, countryside and nature with all its inhabitants is easily forgotten in the pursuit of that magnificent black gold.

With a combination of practical and digital effects, this music video creates an abstract interpretation of who the oil is. The artist Bvis has the role of the physical manifestation of the oil. We are introduced to him at the bottom of the ocean and follow him in to John Doe`s mental and physical home.
