Director Biography - Mikhail Rodionov

I was born in 1971 in Moscow, in the family of geologists.

I was raised in the Russian Far East and from my childhood I got very fond of Russian wildlife.

I have been graduated as a specialist in biochemistry in 1995. After that I was working during 10 years as an art-director at an advertising agency in Moscow.

At the same time I started to shoot movies of Russian countryside and wildlife and eventually moved to this branch completely.

Since 2009 I have been traveled around the country from north to south, seeking and shooting rare animals, their behavior in the wilderness, popularizing observation and searching the wildlife in Russia and have taken part in several local and international projects as cameraman and director.
