Director Biography - Keith Collins II

Keith Collins II was born June 1, 1981 in Chester, PA and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. He graduated from Kent State University with a degree in Education. Keith has been in martial arts all of his life. From the age of 3, he was trained under his Sensei and Father, Keith Collins I, in the art of Kenpo. After receiving his black belt, Keith studied other styles ranging from Krav Maga to Silat, believing that all martial art styles have something to offer. Later, he began teaching self-defense and close quarters combatives to civilians. Keith enjoys helping and teaching the community about self-defense, physical fitness and healthy lifestyles.
Keith also is a filmmaker, stunt coordinator and fight choreographer. He has many film-making achievements including The Indie Gathering International Film Festival’s "Best Micro Action Film" for 2012, 2013 & 2015, as well as "Best Action Short" at the Urban Action Showcase 2015 and multiple Film Festival official selections. His award winning film "Lions & Wolves," premiered on the national cable network channel El Rey Network, this past March 2017.
