Director Biography - Kaitlyn Redcrow

Kaitlyn Redcrow is an emerging Cree filmmaker from Saddle Lake Cree Nation, Alberta. After graduating from the Indigenous Independent Digital Filmmaking program in North Vancouver, she passionately continues and strives to create what she loves most: riveting indigenous content. During her years in film school, two of her films screened at the Truth and Reconciliation panel at Capilano University; as well as at Talking Stick Festival, which was alongside many emerging influential indigenous filmmakers. Apart from directing and editing, her main interests lay in producing and in the sound design department. Kaitlyn is currently in her third year for her Bachelors in Motion Picture Arts.
