Born in Jerusalem, Israel, Oren made his stage entrance to this world six weeks early and backwards... As a child he lived in London and New York City, where he became an American citizen. Shortly after majoring in writing short bios about himself (and Dramatic Arts), Oren played the lead of Slamdance winner "The Holy Land" filmed in Israel. Later, after moving to Los Angeles he acted in Oscar winner “West Bank Story”, and became an independent filmmaker. His debut film "Engel" was selected to the Los Angeles and San Diego Jewish Film Festivals. Currently residing in Tel Aviv, Oren is a passionate and active member of the International Kino Film Movement, in which he made three films in 2017.
I am relentlessly motivated to tell stories with a deep soul and a slapstick personality, lightly battered in awkward grace.
