A date with a Superhero

Jake is about as average as average can be, but the woman he’s fallen for is anything but! Sky Queen is one of the most famous and powerful Superheroes on Earth and Jake is head over heels for her after she saved him from a disaster. But how does an average Joe get the attention of a Superhero? By being in mortal danger, naturally. Jake poses as a superhero, gets beat up, and is rescued by Sky Queen, all as a ploy to ask her on a date. She agrees and afterward discovers what he did just to take her to dinner. After some initial irritation, she realizes his feelings for her are genuine and he’s not just another star struck fanboy. However, his interest scares the Superhero, whose past experience drives her to say, “thanks but no thanks.” Shortly after Jake leaves their date, she is loudly reminded of how other, less honorable and more obsessive men act around her. She returns to Jake and, as a sign of interest and trust, she takes off her mask in front of him.
