The Cloak
“The Cloak” is a documental short film about the palliative care, that addresses the point of view of three health care professionals about death, suffering, and the act of palliate. It's a documentary with a great observational emphasis that shows the procedures in a specialized ward in this type of healthcare, in Macedo de Cavaleiros’s hospital, and in CUF in Porto.
The title “O Manto”, derives from the latin word palliare that means mitigate the suffering without healing, cover with a cloth.
