This is an Art video, inspired by a trip to Berlin, it is open to interpretation but it was made with deep concerns about the human behavior, it's about the past, present, and future.It is about moments carved in stone and flesh, can provoke anxiety but it can be also meditative.
For a better perception of what this work tries to achieve it is advised to watch it with a good sound system or headphones and loud.

Joel is a Portuguese artist that has been exploring mostly sculpture, he studied traditional stone carving and worked with stone sculpture in Portugal from 2003 to 2013. In 2014 he moved to Oslo, Norway, were he has establish. Here he started to explore different possibilities of exploring 3 dimensional work with new materials, Also he started to explore the video as a complement to his sculpture studies and works. He’s video work is not made with intentions to be recognized as a film maker, it’s only an art work, where he uses image and sound to create a concept connected to his 3 dimensional works. Now he he’s taking a bachelor in metal and jewelry at the National Academy of Arts in Oslo, were he will continue to challenge him self on finding a way to create new video works connected with his sculptural studies.
